Join the J
This past March, JCC MetroWest was required to close, along with most other businesses in New Jersey, as part of the state mandate brought on by COVID-19. Although we do not yet know when we will be able to reopen, our JCC MetroWest staff is committed to serving our community. We have been hard at work engaging thousands of members in our community via our JCC MetroWest LIVE programming, volunteer phone calls to our senior community, delivering Kosher meals to those in need and so much more.
We hope you and your family are staying safe and healthy. We look forward to welcoming you and your families back to the J when our doors reopen.
We know that you likely have questions regarding our on-going services and those to come. Please read below for answers, as well as guidance on the best resources to contact for further information.
Frequently Asked Questions
When will JCC MetroWest reopen?
Unfortunately, we do not have a date when the J will open yet. Once Governor Murphy and the West Orange Board of Health lift restrictions, we will notify our members and participants via email and updates on our website.
What JCC MetroWest programs are currently running?
Although our building is mostly closed, we have been able to resume some of our programs. Our youngest members are currently enjoying their summer in our Early Childhood program and at our summer camps, both in person and virtual. We have started outdoor fitness classes and one on one personal training. For a complete schedule of classes please visit https://jccmetrowest.org/schedules/#groupex. If you are interested in personal training please contact Sharon Tobey, Fitness Director, at [email protected]. Our virtual programs are still running and the schedule can be viewed online at: https://jccmetrowest.org/live/.
