Birthday Parties at the J

Base Party Rate: $500 for members • $600 for non-members up to 16 children, $25 for each additional child.

Included in party base rate: 

• Choice of party theme color, we provide solid-colored plates, napkins, and tablecloths with a Happy Birthday sign. Color choices are blue, red, purple, pink, green, orange, white, and black. 
• Special character requests are available for an additional fee. 
• Birthday parties require a minimum of four weeks advance notice and a $150 nonrefundable deposit. *Some of the special add-on options are only available based on availability and we will not ask for a deposit until we can confirm the dates. 
• Party Rooms are assigned based on room availability in the building and we are not able to guarantee room requests.

Food:

Any food brought into the facility must be “dairy” or vegetarian and cannot contain: MEAT, NUTS, PORK, or SHELLFISH

We have limited refrigeration and freezer space, please think twice before ordering an ice cream cake as we cannot guarantee that we can store it.

BIRTHDAY PARTY THEMES
 

Private Movie Screening in the Theater 
Pick your child’s favorite movie or new release, maybe even a sing-along to be shown on the big screen in our theater. A special birthday message from your family will be projected before the movie starts.

GAGA and Basketball Party  
Come have your own unlimited GAGA play time in our inflatable GAGA pit and get in some hoop time in our gym.

Pottery Painting  
Choose from an assortment of pottery pieces that can be painted and will then be fired and packed up for the host to pick up a few days later.

Pool and Play Party 
Splash and play in one of our two indoor heated pools. Noodles and pool toys are provided. Any children who are not able to stand in the water and are not confident swimmers will be asked to wear a life vest and that an adult is in the water with hem at all times.

Gymboree Fun, Great for ages 5 & Under! 
Included Equipment: Shape Mats, Flat Mats, and Parachute. Reservation includes access to the playground.

Beading Party
Necklaces, bracelets, keychains, the options are endless when you have thousands of beads to choose from.

Magic Show 
Keep your guests saying WOW with a professional magician keeping you guessing, “How did he do it?”

Silent Disco 
Let dance! With multiple stations to choose from you can dance, dance, and dance with your friends using special headphones and custom playlists.

Tie Dye Party 
Learn new tie-dye techniques and experiment with colors during this tie-dye party. You have the choice of a pillow case or t-shirt for the group to dye.

PROCESS:

• Call 973-929-2901, email [email protected], or fill out this form to make a party reservation.
• Following your reservation, a staff member will reach out within 48 hours to confirm the times and party options available on that day.
• Once the party option and time is confirmed, the client will be sent a contract and will be responsible for a $150, non-refundable deposit.
• The client will be asked to provide a complete guest list 5 days prior to the event.
• The J will provide a Party Host, tables, chairs, and party room supplies. Any optional equipment requested will also be provided.
• The J will not provide any food or drink. Food brought into the facility must be dairy and free of nuts, pork, or shellfish.
