Life Long Learning: Molly Burack Annual Lecture “Teachers, The Ones I Can’t Forget”
February 14 @ 1:00 pm
Molly Burack Annual Lecture “Teachers, The Ones I Can’t Forget,” with Martin Fletcher
Join us in person as Martin Fletcher discusses via ZOOM his latest book, Teachers, The Ones I Can’t Forget. This session will be moderated by Life Long Learning Committee member, social activist, and former teacher, Ruth Ross. Teachers are the people Fletcher met throughout his work as a news correspondent, often on the worst day of their lives. He watched as they picked up the pieces following personal tragedy and discovered the invaluable lesson of carrying on no matter the circumstances.
Martin Fletcher has been covering world events for 40 years. For 26 years he was the NBC correspondent in Israel and for 15, bureau chief as well. He has won almost every award in TV journalism, including the du Pont, five Overseas Press Club awards, the Edward R. Murrow award for excellence, and five Emmys.
