J-Films Present: The Specials

Monday, February 13 • 7 PM

This vivid, engaging docudrama follows the daily struggles and joys of Jewish Bruno (Vincent Cassel) and Muslim Malik (Reda Kateb), who run programs for neurodivergent Parisian youths and training for their caregivers. Bruno and Malik (based on real educators) must stretch shoestring budgets and navigate state regulators while fulfilling the needs of young people with severe challenges. This film is written and directed by Olivier Nakache and Eric Toledano, creators of the 2011 mega-hit, The Intouchables.
