J-Films & PJ Library of GMW Present: An American Tail

In this animated classic from Don Bluth and Steven Spielberg, a young Jewish mouse, newly immigrated from Russia, must navigate Gilded Age New York City to be reunited with his family, meeting allies and dangers along the way. Families are encouraged to discuss their own immigration stories after seeing the film, and all who attend will have the opportunity to drop off donations for the Federation’s Center for Volunteerism’s current Mitzvah of the Moment.

This film is rated “G” and is recommended for children ages 5 and up, with parental guidance suggested for younger children.
