BUILDING A JEWISH COMMUNITY THROUGH COLLABORATIVE LEARNING

Social Justice: The Heart of Judaism

RABBI SATZ
THURSDAYS 7:30 – 9:00 PM

The fight for equality and justice is one that is all too familiar for Jewish people. Centuries of marginalization have been crucial in shaping our beliefs of alleviating poverty, suffering, and indignity for all. This course will dive into Jewish texts, history, and work and will help students gain a deep understanding of the Jewish view on social justice.
