In this six-session quest, we’ll dive deep into a fundamental question for Members of the Tribe: What is the overarching purpose of Judaism? We will examine the “Jewish mission,” discuss what to do with the idea of being called the “Chosen People,” and explore how ideas and lessons from our history enrich our lives as individuals and as a people.

In our study of the fifth book of the Torah, we join Moses in his final address to the nation atop Mount Nebo. Gazing over the Promised Land that he will never enter, Moses recalls Israel’s past and lays the foundation for the future of the Jewish People. Many timeless themes are explored, lessons from the past that illuminate the present as well as the future.
