Graphic Designer / Multi-Media Producer Position

JCC MetroWest is seeking an energetic Graphic Designer / Multi-media Producer to bring our stories to life. This includes print collateral, ads, social media, web assets, email design and production, photography, and video/audio production for internal and external marketing purposes. We are looking for a candidate who is a self-starter with a strong design/production background and is a great team player.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with team members to help facilitate marketing initiatives
• Conceptualize on-brand creative and execute on design and production projects
• Report progress to the Marketing Director
• Keep project files organized and accessible
• Track and manage time to meet deadlines
• Manage relationships with vendors
• Communicate questions and concerns as needed to keep projects moving

Project Examples

• Print – Communications including brochures, posters, indoor/outdoor signage, cards/postcards, and advertisements from design through production
• Digital – Web assets, digital flyers, social content
• Photography – photographing, selection, curation, retouching
• Video – Coordinating, filming, editing, maintaining equipment
• Email – Design and build email campaigns

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, Art, or a similar field
• 2+ years of experience
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc…
• Experience with photography, video production, and editing
• Ability to work proficiently across multiple mediums — digital, print (including knowledge of prepress/printing practices), multi-media production, etc.
• Ability to manage time, work independently, and take ownership of assignments
• Strong attention to detail working across multiple projects at one time
• Willingness to learn and collaborate
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Copywriting or copy editing is a plus

REQUIREMENT:

Digital or online portfolio demonstrating creative work must be submitted.
