Position Summary:

The Early Childhood Department at JCC MetroWest in West Orange, NJ is seeking a dedicated and passionate Temporary Full-Time Lead Teacher for Three-year-olds to join our early childhood education team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead classroom activities, develop engaging curriculum, and support the developmental growth of young children in a nurturing environment. This temporary role is to cover a maternity leave beginning mid to late February and ending on June 19, 2026. The preferred schedule is 8:15am to 5:15pm, and there is potential opportunity for continued employment.

Minimum Qualifications:

The ideal candidates will understand developmental milestones, be nurturing, patient, reliable and joyful. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and co-workers.

Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education required.
Relevant experience required.

Salary is commensurate with credentials; range is $22 – $28 per hour.
