The Global Economy: Paradise or Disaster?

The Global Economy: Paradise or Disaster?

Everyone has a car from Germany or Japan, wears clothes made in Thailand or Mexico, eats food from Africa and Brazil, has a computer made in China or Japan, and goes on vacation to Mexico or Europe. Today, this global system is under attack. Has the global economy created an earthly paradise, or is it leading the planet to disaster?

Dr. Ronald Brown lives in New York City where he is professor of history and political science at Touro College and adjunct professor of world
religions.
