19th Annual NJJFF: Simon & Théodore

In this endearing comedy-drama, two male misfits connect under the pressure of each one’s family circumstances and support each other. Simon’s wife, a rabbi, is about to give birth to their child. But how can this unusual young man take care of his baby when he can’t take care of himself? His encounter with Théodore, a cantankerous teen, will seriously test his self-respect and resolve as the two men set out on a wild and woolly quest through Paris. The power of compassion, love of family and inner strength combine to help these unconventional characters finally come to terms with their challenging lives.
