Acclaimed Jewish-Argentinian actor and filmmaker Adrián Suar directs, produces, and stars in this comedy about a Jewish family with a lot of love for each other and an equal number of grudges. Dario (Suar) returns to Argentina from the U.S. following his father’s death. With a family wedding and bat mitzvah rapidly approaching, Dario and his three messy siblings must navigate their grief, unfinished business, and extended-family drama. Mazel Tov reflects both the specificity of the Buenos Aires Jewish community and the universal experience of having a family with big personalities.
