Life Long Learning: Father Verses Sons: A Correspondence in Poems with author Ari Gold
Life Long Learning: Father Verses Sons: A Correspondence in Poems with author Ari Gold
March 5 @ 1:00 pm
Molly Burack Annual Lecture
When the global pandemic forced his 96-year-old father into isolation, filmmaker Ari Gold became concerned that loneliness would kill his father’s spirits. So, Ari mailed his father a poem, asking for one in return. Thus, a lifesaving literary correspondence was launched, and a testament to the bonds of family. The audience will be in person, Ari Gold will be joining us via zoom.
Ari Gold is a film director, poet, musician, and founder/president of Grack Films. His movies have been screened at Sundance, Telluride and hundreds of other festivals and he has won over fifty prizes.
