JONATHAN SAFRAN FOER is the author of three award-winning and internationally best-selling novels: Everything Is Illuminated; Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, and Here I Am. His non-fiction books, Eating Animals (Little Brown), and We Are the Weather: Saving the Planet Begins at Breakfast (Farrar, Straus, Giroux) have been described as “compelling”, life-changing,” and “likely to alter your relationship to food for ever” (The Guardian), “Stirring…compelling, and bringing invigorating moral clarity” (Entertainment Weekly); raising “critical ethical questions we all need to face” (Huffington Post), “a work of moral philosophy” (San Francisco Chronicle), and “a pop art cultural landmark” (Philadelphia Daily News).
