In his first film as director, Israeli actor and writer Adir Miller dramatizes his family’s story of surviving the Holocaust. When elderly Violetta falls ill, her son and granddaughter travel to Budapest to find the gold ring that saved her life in 1944. This multi-generational epic, featuring Miller’s signature blend of wry humor and pathos, sold out its screening at the 2025 NJ Jewish Film Festival.
