FDD (Foundation for Defense of Democracies):
Bradley Bowman is senior director of the Center on Military and Political Power at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, where he focuses on U.S. defense strategy and policy. Prior to his time at FDD, Brad spent nearly nine years in the Senate serving as national security advisor to members of the Senate Armed Services and Foreign Relations committees, as well as more than 15 years as an active-duty U.S. Army officer, Black Hawk pilot, and assistant professor at West Point.
Behnam Ben Taleblu is senior director of FDD’s Iran Program, where he oversees the breadth of FDD’s work on Iran in addition to serving as a senior fellow specializing in Iranian security and political issues. Prior to his time at FDD, Behnam worked on non-proliferation issues at an arms control think-tank in Washington. Leveraging his subject-matter expertise and native Farsi skills, Behnam has closely tracked a wide range of Iran-related topics including nuclear non-proliferation, ballistic missiles, sanctions, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the foreign and security policy of the Islamic Republic, and internal Iranian politics.
