Toy Car Wash Activity

Supplies:

  • Cars/Trucks (any modes of transportation are ideal)
    • Don’t have cars or trucks? Use Little People or really any other toys
  • Two plastic storage bins
  • Warm water
  • Soap
  • Sponge, scrubby, or washcloth
  • Dirt

 

Directions:

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 1: Place two bins side by side

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 2: Scoop dirt into one of the bins. Add a little water to make some mud.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 3: Hide, bury, drive a bunch of toys into the mud.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 4: Add liquid soap to bin filled with water.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 5: Give each child a sponge, scrub brush, washcloth, or even an old toothbrush!

Step 6: Sit back and watch your child clean each toy.
