Supplies:
- Cardboard – don’t put your recycling out this week!
- Sharp Scissors – let the adults take care of this.
- Sharpie or marker
- Colored Markers or crayons
Directions:
1.) Outline different shapes in different sizes (squares, triangles, rectangles, and circle)
2.) Cut out the different shapes.
3.) Color the different shapes with the markers or crayons
4.) Now have your child ‘build’ different shapes (houses, trains, etc.)
While your child ‘builds’ engage them in different questions – How many wheels did you put on the truck? Can you stack all the green shapes? Can you stack all the circles? Let’s build a house from the shapes.
