Tuv Ha'aretz
It is time to register for Tuv Ha'Aretz!
Pick up: Thursdays, June 5 - October 30

Community-Supported Agricultural projects, like Tuv Ha'aretz, let members pay in advance to purchase 20 weeks of organic produce. As a member, you'll get a delicious variety of organic produce at competitive prices. And unlike shopping at a supermarket or Whole Foods, you will also gain a closer connection to where your food is grown, the opportunity to support John Krueger in his work at Starbrite Farm, and a community of people who care about supporting sustainable agriculture and Tikkun Olam (healing the world).
This year, John is again adding a 12-week fruit share to the vegetable share! The fruit share will include peaches, pears, nectarines, plums, apples, and apricots. The fruit share is available only to those who register for a full or half-share of vegetables.
In addition to vegetables and fruit, Tuv Ha'aretz offers members access to educational and social events. In 2007, Tuv Ha'aretz members were invited to go on a trip to Starbrite Farm, and a cooking night. We hope to expand upon these events during 2008. If you would like to get involved with planning an event, teaching/speaking, writing for the newsletter, join the core group, or to register, contact Roni Turner at 973-530-3521 or via e-mail at rturner@jccmetrowest.org.
