Tuv Ha'aretz 2012! Community-Supported Agricultural projects, like Tuv Ha'aretz, lets members pay in advance to purchase 16 or more weeks of organic produce.
Tuv Ha'artez (Good for/from the Land) members buy shares in a local farm and get weekly deliveries of healthy, local, and mostly organic produce at competitive prices while supporting local farmers, building community and expanding our understanding of what it means for food to be kosher.
As a member, you'll get a delicious variety of organic produce at competitive prices. Unlike shopping at a supermarket or Whole Foods, you will gain a connection to where your food is grown, the opportunity to support a farmer in their work, and join a community of people who care about supporting sustainable agriculture and Tikkun Olam (healing the world).
In addition to veggies, the farmer will include a few weeks of delicious fruits! The fruit share will include various types of melons (watermelon, cantaloupe & honeydew) possibly apples, peaches, and more. In 2009, our farmer also offered a new purchase option for eggs and/or cheese. Eggs are from vegetarian, grass fed chickens and the cheese is made with raw milk according to Kosher standards. Many of our Tuv Ha'aretz members enjoyed these new and delicious options!
In addition to local, organic produce, Tuv Ha'aretz offers members access to educational and social events.
